Brown & Brown, Inc. Chairman Hyatt Brown Honored in 2018 Edition of “Florida 500” as a Living Legend:

“Brown was CEO of the company and its corporate predecessor for nearly 50 years, from 1961 until 2009. His son is now CEO. Brown served eight years in the Florida House of Representatives from 1972-80, including a term as House Speaker (1978-80).

Brown sits on the board of International Speedway Corporation, Verisk Analytics, and Stetson University. He and his wife, Cici Brown, are among Central Florida’s largest philanthropists.”
